I've shot photos of singers, models, comedians, authors, and filmmakers. They're exciting, creative people, and getting to spend time with them is a real rush. But it's also a rush to connect with everyday people, to get a glimpse into what's interesting about them, what makes them singular.

I'm a mom, and as such, I've gotten pretty good with photographing kids over the past twenty years. It's tougher than it looks -- they have lots of energy, they move fast, and they're unpredictable -- and maybe that's why it's so much fun.
